My name is Dylan Warren and I’m an adventure photographer born and raised in NYC/ Westchester but have called the west coast my home since graduating from the University of Buffalo back in 2010. I decided to venture out west after studying environmental science in college and minoring in photography, which lead me to taking a job in Tahoe to work for heavenly ski school. From there I found a love for photographing nature and its landscapes. My current body of work that I’m showcasing in this exhibition is from a recent 4 year van journey of over 120k miles photographing all over the country. Some of these shots have a little deeper meaning than just a landscape. They are places where I’ve spread my father’s ashes as well after his passing in 2019. Hitting the road after grieving the loss of him was not easy at all but this selection of photos shows how powerful the beauty of nature can help in the healing process as well as the importance of protecting these precious places for all to enjoy.
