The Ultimate Celebrity Week Warm-Up

There were plenty of ways to kick off American Century Championship week, but if you ask us, none are quite as fun as the Culinary Tee Off.

As the energy around Edgewood Tahoe begins to build and celebrity sightings become part of the daily routine, Tahoe Beach Club members get to start the festivities a little early with an evening that's equal parts great food, great drinks, and great company.

This year's event brought together an incredible lineup of brands, personalities, and local favorites. NFL Hall of Famer Charles Woodson was the featured guest, sharing his award-winning Woodson Whiskey with members throughout the evening. Whether you came for the conversation, the cocktails, or simply to say you sampled whiskey with a football legend, it was one of those uniquely Tahoe moments.

Also returning by popular demand was digital creator Manolo, whose unmistakable energy and more than one million followers have made him a fan favorite. Just like last year, he had members laughing and taking photos, proving that some personalities are even more entertaining in person.

Another highlight of the evening was Tepozán Tequila, proudly owned by the Newman family, whose roots at Tahoe Beach Club made their participation feel especially meaningful. Sharing  their brand with fellow members added a personal touch that made the evening feel even more like home.

With a DJ keeping the atmosphere lively, conversations flowing, and glasses continually raised, the evening struck that perfect balance between sophisticated and relaxed. It wasn't about rushing from one tasting to the next. It was about lingering a little longer and soaking in the excitement that only celebrity week on Lake Tahoe can bring.

While the tournament has now wrapped up, the Culinary Tee Off once again set the tone for an unforgettable weekend, proving that some of the best moments happen long before the first golfer steps onto the tee.
