Blue Looks Good on Us

Tahoe Beach Club has a new shade of Blue to brag about! Yep, we’re officially the first private club to earn a Tahoe Blue Beach Certification through the League to Save Lake Tahoe. Translation? We’re raising the bar on how beaches should be cared for, and yes, we’re doing it in style.

So, what exactly does “Blue Beach” mean? Think of it as the ultimate eco–seal of approval. The League to Save Lake Tahoe created the program to keep our beloved lake as clear, blue, and beautiful. The secret sauce comes down to the “Three E’s”:

  • Education: Teaching people the “Tahoe way” before they even hit the sand. (Spoiler alert: it involves being kind to the lake, not leaving your snack wrappers behind, and knowing that yes, cigarette butts count as trash.)

  • Engineering: Fancy word for “making it easier to do the right thing.” More trash cans, bike racks, refill stations, restrooms—basically, all the things that keep beaches clean and your day stress-free.

  • Enforcement: Because sometimes a gentle reminder (or a firm one) is what it takes to keep Tahoe’s beaches pristine.

As members know, Tahoe Beach Club is no stranger to doing things thoughtfully. From our design to our amenities, everything is built around blending luxury with respect for the natural beauty that surrounds us. Earning this Blue Beach Certification just proves what we already know: sustainability is part of our lifestyle.

We’re proud to stand alongside the League to Save Lake Tahoe, the Forest Service, California State Parks, and other community partners to make sure our favorite playground stays as incredible tomorrow as it is today.

Bottom line? Blue looks good on Tahoe Beach Club. And it looks even better on Lake Tahoe.
