Art With a Purpose
Over the next few weeks, you may notice something new taking shape around the Clubhouse.
The Alpenglow Art Installation is beginning to arrive, bringing beautiful works from local Tahoe artists into the spaces we know and love. Our special exhibit serves as the lead-up to our annual Alpenglow Casino Night in August, where Tahoe Beach Club comes together to raise funds in support of Clean Up the Lake. And this year, the art itself becomes part of the giving.
Each piece featured throughout the Club is available for purchase at the artist’s price, with an additional 20% of the proceeds benefiting Clean Up the Lake. That means every purchase supports two things close to our hearts: the local artists who help tell the story of Lake Tahoe, and the people who are committed to keeping it clean. Basically, it’s the ultimate win-win.
Members are invited to take their time exploring the installation as pieces begin to appear throughout the Clubhouse. Pause between visits to the beach. Notice a piece over lunch. Come back to something that catches your eye. Art has a way of changing a room, sparking conversation, and reminding us to see familiar places in a new way.

The Alpenglow Art Installation is more than a beautiful addition to the Club. It is a celebration of creativity, community, and stewardship. Plus, it’s a chance to bring a piece of Tahoe home while helping protect the lake we all love.
